NSGHS students of Japanese participated in the NSW State Finals of the Japanese Speech Contest at UNSW on Sunday 17th September.
Vivian Tian (Year 9), Jessica Kim (Year 10) and Kathlyn Lowardi (Year 10) competed in the Wakaba Division of the 50th NSW Japanese Speech Contest.
It was a wonderful opportunity to hear speeches from students who spoke about their future dreams and hopes, and the people and things most important to them in their lives!
Vivian Tian - “I really enjoyed it and it was a fun day to practise our language skills”
Congratulations to all girls on their efforts. Special thanks to Mrs Teruko Sharif for preparing the students for the Contest and supporting the students on the day. Arigatou Gozaimashita.
