Since 1969, students of Japanese language have come together to showcase their Japanese skills. This year marks the 50th year of the Japanese Speech Contest. The contest will be held at St Joseph’s College (Mark Street, Hunters Hill, NSW 2110) on the Sunday 15th September 2019.
The High School Wakaba Division continues and invites students enrolled in Stage 4 Japanese, Stage 5 and Stage 6 beginners Japanese to participate in the contest using their creativity and level-appropriate Japanese. The main objective is to provide an opportunity for beginners to take part in an official Japanese language event in the community. We hope it will be a wonderful opportunity for them to meet students from other schools with similar interest.
All students will receive a certificate and participation prizes.
We look forward to meeting your students at the contest!
THANK YOU for your support!
