On Thursday March 31 both the Year 9 elective PASS and Year 10 elective Sport and Exercise Science classes travelled to Doyalson to complete the RAW challenge obstacle course. The weather conditions matched the difficulty of the obstacles and everyone was challenged at some point in the day!
Both classes prepared for the course by designing and completing a fitness program aiming to increase their strength and endurance to match the obstacles they would face. The course included underwater tunnels, high ropes, monkey bars over water and probably the most fun challenge which was the giant slide into water. Everyone worked together as a team and were able to complete the course no matter the difficulty. A lot of fun was had by all involved! It was great to apply the learning from our fitness units into something outside school.
