This term year 10 Food Technology students have been hard at work in the kitchens producing some beautiful dishes. The current unit, Food Trends, provides vast opportunities for students to build their practical skills regarding food presentation and styling techniques. During week 2 of this term students in both classes had an opportunity to test their individual cooking and presentation skills in the format of a Fruit Flan task. Each student had 1 hour to make a fruit flan from scratch and decorate it how they pleased with fruits of their choice. Attached to this article is a snap shot into the products that were made by the students in the classes. Great work year 10!
