Entry into 2022 Years 8-11

Students seeking enrolment into Years 8-11 are coordinated through the school, but they must sit for the Australian Council of Educational Research (ACER), Higher Ability Selection Test. The test is conducted at the school on Saturday, 7th August 2021. Outcome advice is sent to applicants in Term 4.

Applications for Years 8-11 2022 entry are now closed.  

Due to the current NSW Public Health Guidelines we are unable to run the Higher Ability Selection Test as planned on August 7, 2021. At this stage no new date has been planned, we will be emailing all parents who have submitted applications once the new date can be arranged.

All applications (NSGHS as 1st preference) should be lodged together with:

  • Non-refundable application fee of $100 paid by eftpos or credit card only (payment must be made before 1.15pm Monday - Friday)
  • Copies of the applicant's 2020 Semester 1 and 2 Reports, 2021 Semester 1 Report
  • Evidence of latest Naplan, any competition results (eg AMC), co-curricular involvement and achievements

 

All applications (NSGHS as 2nd/3rd preference) should be lodged together with:

  • Non-refundable application fee of $50 paid by eftpos or credit card only (payment must be made before 1.15pm Monday - Friday)
  • Copies of the applicant's 2020 Semester 1 and 2 Reports, 2021 Semester 1 Report
  • Evidence of latest Naplan, any competition results (eg AMC), co-curricular involvement and achievements

 

All applications must be sent by mail or handed in at the Administration Office. Applications will not be accepted via email.

It must be noted that there are only limited places that become available in Years 8-11 each year.
